The Devil Wears Prada 2

We love movie nights! Come join us in Christchurch for a great night and to help us fill bellies in our community.

About the event

Come along for the laughs, the snacks and a little movie magic - all while helping raise funds to cook and deliver meals to whānau with babies and young children.

Almost twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway Magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation.

Check out the trailer – it’s warm, witty, and just the ticket for a great night out.

About Bellyful Christchurch

Bellyful provides up to three nights of meals to whānau with babies or children under 12 who are facing challenges such as illness, bereavement, stress, isolation, pregnancy, miscarriage, or baby loss – regardless of financial situation. We help families without a support network. Our meals are generously cooked and delivered by volunteers, who will do their best to be in touch within five working days.

What's cooking?

In 2025, we cooked & delivered 2,739 meals to serve our Christchurch community

Volunteers

From whipping up & delivering delicious meals, we have a team of 40 local volunteers serving Christchurch.

More than a meal

91% of families said meals gave them a break when they needed it most, and 97% felt supported without judgment.

Bellyful New Zealand

From exhausted new parents to overwhelmed whānau, Bellyful is helping lighten the load across Aotearoa. Our latest survey shows the power of a simple meal—91% of families said it gave them a break when they needed it most, and 97% felt supported without judgement. As one parent shared: “You actually kept us afloat in what felt like a sinking situation.”

This year Bellyful is on track to serve over 7,000 families more than 40,000 meals, including stocking neonatal unit freezers across the motu. Ngā mihi to our amazing volunteers and the generous people backing our mahi. Together, we’re filling freezers, warming hearts, and nourishing communities.
